Do we have a minimum number?
We need 6 persons to run the Boat tour and if a tour is cancelled we will either reschedule your booking or give you a refund.
Do I need to book or can I just turn up?
Booking is recommended for all of our trips especially during School holidays.
When do I need to arrive?
We advise all customers to arrive no later than 15 minutes before your Boat Trip as the Boat needs to leave at the scheduled departure time. If you are late we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We often get 4 seasons in one day in Scotland. Loch Tay Safaris operate in all weathers and quite often bad or stormy weather is the most exciting. Our Rib is built to handle even the roughest conditions.
Can I take my dog on the Boat?
Unfortunately we cannot take dogs
Where can I park?
Parking is available in the square of Kenmore, The Courtyard restaurant, the pay and display car park at the Beach or beside the Beach area.
Public toilets are available at Kenmore Hotel and the Courtyard just over the bridge.
Are the Boat Tours suitable for someone with a disability?
We advise you to call us so that we can talk you through suitable options.
What should I wear?
You should wear stout shoes or boots and bring a decent jacket and a hat and gloves in winter. The cabin is warm and dry but you may get out on deck if the weather is good.
Where can I eat?
The Highland Safaris Café is set with a stunning outlook and serves fresh, locally produced, homemade lunches, cakes & coffees. You can also have food at the Courtyard Restaurant, Kenmore Hotel or the Taymouth Marina. For light snacks and coffee the Boathouse Cafe is situated next to our departure point.

Do you ever cancel Safaris?
If the minimum number is not reached (see above) or in cases of extreme weather. In this situation, we will contact you with as much notice as possible and organise an alternative date or a refund.
