Do I need to book or can I just turn up?
Online booking is recommended in advance for
all our activities.
When do I need to arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your activity start time.
If you are delayed please notifiy us as soon as possible by calling the office on 01887 820071.
Do I need to sign a disclaimer?
Yes. View our Disclaimer Form. This form needs to be completed prior to taking part in any booked activity.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Highland Safaris operate in all weather. Wet
weather can be the best time to see red grouse in the heather or some deer sheltering close to our safari
tracks. We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather conditions.
What should I wear?
You should wear stout shoes or boots and bring a waterproof
jacket. We recommend a hat and gloves in winter.
Are there toilets on Safari?
Chemical Toilets are available by most of our Mountain
Bothies although we advise all customers to visit the Toilets before you depart for your Safari.
Is Highland Safaris accessible?
Our Cafe, Gift Shop, Red Deer Cenre, Gold & Gem
Panning and Discovery Trail are all fully accessible. We have disabled parking and toilets on site. We would
be happy to discuss accessible safari options please call us on 01887 820 071.
Where can I eat?
Our Café serves fresh,
homemade light lunches, cakes and drinks.
Can I take my dog on Safari?
Dogs are welcome in our Highland Safaris Cafe, Gift Shop
and grounds. Due to land access agreements and insurance policies they cannot go on safari, on our boat or
in our Red Deer Centre.
Can I use my Tesco Vouchers to pay for a Safari?
Tesco Vouchers are valid towards our
Mini and Mountain Safaris and a visit to our Red Deer Centre. Booking is available online only – please
enter your voucher code in the box at the checkout. Only one voucher can be applied per booking. Vouchers
can only be used once.
